IDEO U issues two types of certificates: individual course certificates of completion and multi-course program certificates (Foundations and Advanced certificates).
To share your individual course certificate of completion on LinkedIn:
- Share and make your Certificate public
- Click the share icon in the upper right corner and make the certificate public
- Copy the license number in the pop-up window
- Click the blue 'add to profile' button
- Add Certificate Name
- Enter the Course Name (eg. Insights for Innovation)
- Add IDEO U as Certification Authority
- As you start typing, this field will search and pre populate for you
- Paste in the license number from step 2 into the 'Certificate ID" section
- Enter time frame for certificate
- Completion Month/Year of the course and select 'This certificate does not expire'
- Optional: You can add a direct URL Link to your Certificate if you wish. To do so, upload your certificate to Google Drive and use the sharing link provided by Google.
- Once saved, your certificate will be visible on your profile

To share your multi-course program certificate on LinkedIn:
- Click on the “view my certificate” button in the certificate email you receive from Accredible. (Didn’t receive your certificate email? Contact us at hello@ideou.com)
- Click the “add to LinkedIn profile” button on the left side of the page
- In the modal window that opens, click the “open LinkedIn” button and log in to your LinkedIn account
- Copy the information from the Accredible pop-up window to your LinkedIn license and click save
*Note: enter IDEO U in the issuing organization field

To share your Hello Design Thinking course certificate of completion on LinkedIn:
- Go to Add Profile Section on your profile page in LinkedIn
- Select Licenses & Certifications
- Add the name of the course and issuing organization (IDEO U will auto-populate)
- Click This license does not expire and add the issuing date (when you completed the course)
- There is no License ID
- To add the certificate link (which is optional), upload the certificate to Google Drive and use a sharing link
